T[EOLOGU] Community

A community building the future of finance.

T[EOLOGU] is being built for people who use financial services, build businesses, create technology, study finance, develop new ideas and help shape what comes next.

The T[EOLOGU] Community will bring these people together around finance, technology, entrepreneurship and innovation.

22 — Community principles

Our Community Principles.

A financial community needs clear standards. These are the principles the future T[EOLOGU] Community should be built around.

01Respect

Treat people with respect, regardless of background, experience or profession.

02Constructive discussion

Challenge ideas without attacking people.

03Accuracy

Financial information should be shared responsibly.

04Transparency

Clearly distinguish personal opinions, experiences and factual information.

05Privacy

Do not share another person's private information.

06Safety

Protect community members from harassment, fraud and harmful behaviour.

07Inclusion

Create space for people with different experiences and perspectives.

08Accountability

Standards apply equally to everyone in the community.

23 — Financial information

Community information is not automatically financial advice.

Community discussions may include opinions, experiences, educational content and general financial information.

Participation in the community should not automatically be interpreted as receiving personalised financial advice or a recommendation to buy, sell or use a financial product.

Where regulated financial advice is required, users should seek advice from an appropriately authorised professional.

24 — Safety and moderation

A community built responsibly.

A financial community needs strong standards. Future community systems should include appropriate mechanisms for the areas below.

Reporting content

A way to flag content that breaks community standards.

Reporting users

A way to report behaviour that harms others.

Moderation

Review of reports and consistent application of rules.

Fraud prevention

Systems designed to reduce financial harm.

Scam awareness

Helping members recognise common fraud patterns.

Privacy protection

Safeguarding personal information shared by members.

Account security

Guideline enforcement

Clear consequences when standards are breached.

No moderation team, tooling or process is in place today. These are the mechanisms the community is intended to have when it launches.

25 — Community and security

Protect yourself and others.

Financial communities attract fraud. These rules never change.
  • Never share your password with anyone
  • Never share authentication or one-time codes
  • Never share private financial information in a community
  • Be careful with investment claims and guaranteed returns
  • Learn to identify common scam patterns
  • Verify links before opening them
  • Report suspicious behaviour immediately
  • Do not trust unsolicited contact about money

T[EOLOGU] will never require community members to publicly share passwords, authentication codes or sensitive financial credentials. Anyone asking for these is not acting on our behalf.

26 — Evolving together

The community will keep evolving.

As T[EOLOGU] grows, the community itself will change. New products create new conversations. New markets create new perspectives. New technologies create new opportunities.

ListenUnderstand

Understand what people need from financial technology.

LearnLearn

BuildBuild

Use insight to help inform future products and community experiences.

27 — Join the community

This is a future-ready experience. No registration system is live, so submitting will not create an account or send data anywhere. A privacy notice and consent mechanism will be provided when the community launches.

28 — Community FAQ
