How we approach the security of our platform.
Governance & Responsibility
TEOLOGU is committed to responsible decision-making, transparent communication, strong oversight, and long-term development as it builds a connected financial technology ecosystem.
Development status: TEOLOGU is under development. This page sets out our governance principles and intended approach. Frameworks, policies, and structures described here are in development unless stated otherwise. TEOLOGU is not a licensed bank.
Governance philosophy
A financial ecosystem handles people’s money, data, and trust. Governance is how we intend to make sure decisions are made deliberately, responsibilities are clear, and risks are understood before they become problems.
Every significant decision and responsibility should have a clearly identified owner.
We aim to communicate accurately about what TEOLOGU is, what it offers, and what it does not yet offer.
Ethical judgement should guide decisions, including when it is commercially inconvenient.
Understanding operational, financial, and technology risks, and building resilience proportionate to them.
Placing the interests of customers, users, and stakeholders at the centre of product and business decisions.
Pursuing new ideas in ways that create long-term value without compromising safety or trust.
Governance principles
These principles describe how TEOLOGU intends to govern itself. They are not a statement that formal governance controls have been implemented.
Leaders set direction and are answerable for the outcomes of their decisions.
Introducing independent perspectives into oversight as the company’s scale and obligations require.
Defined owners for products, risks, and processes, so nothing important is left unassigned.
Decisions and risks reviewed by people with the authority and information to challenge them.
Honesty and fairness in how we build, describe, and sell products.
Treating personal and financial data as something entrusted to us, used lawfully and only for clear purposes.
Reviewing what works, learning from mistakes, and strengthening governance over time.
Leadership and accountability
Well-defined leadership responsibilities, decision-making authority, oversight, and escalation routes are essential foundations for a financial technology company.
TEOLOGU is at an early stage. Governance currently rests with the company’s founding leadership. We do not have a board committee structure or independent directors at this time, and we do not present one on this page.
Governance arrangements will evolve with TEOLOGU’s scale, operational maturity, and regulatory obligations. Where formal roles, directors, or committees are established, we intend to publish verified details here.
Risk management and internal controls
The principal risk areas relevant to TEOLOGU’s planned ecosystem. A formal risk framework and internal controls are in development; we do not describe any control as operational until it is.
| Risk area | What it covers | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Operational risk | Failures in processes, people, or systems. | In development |
| Financial risk | Liquidity, funding, and financial-position risks. | In development |
| Cybersecurity | Threats to systems, accounts, and infrastructure. | In development |
| Data protection | Misuse, loss, or unlawful processing of personal data. | In development |
| Fraud prevention | Protecting users and the business from fraud and scams. | In development |
| Third-party dependencies | Reliance on providers, partners, and suppliers. | In development |
| Business continuity | Maintaining essential services through disruption. | In development |
| Regulatory change | Changes to laws and rules across jurisdictions. | In development |

Track risks over time.
Raise issues to the right people.
Reduce risk to acceptable levels.
Regulatory and compliance responsibility
We are committed to understanding and meeting the legal and regulatory requirements that apply to each product, service, and jurisdiction before we offer it.
Ethics and responsible technology
Relevant policies are under development. These are the areas they are intended to address.
Identifying and managing situations where interests could compete with users’ interests.
Designing products and decisions that treat users fairly and consistently.
Using data only for clear, lawful, and expected purposes.
Reviewing how AI features, including TOGA AI, are designed, tested, and monitored.
People, not systems, remain accountable for significant automated decisions.
Explaining how features work and avoiding misleading design or marketing practices.
Ethics and responsible-technology policies are under development and not yet published.
Data protection, privacy and security
Privacy and security are governance responsibilities, not only technical ones. We do not claim security certifications or independent audits on this page.

Governance development
A development framework for how governance is expected to mature as TEOLOGU grows and takes on additional legal and regulatory obligations. It is not a record of completed stages.
Establishing clear responsibilities, principles, and essential policies.
Strengthening operational controls, risk processes, and documentation.
Preparing for applicable regulatory and operational requirements.
Adapting governance, oversight, and reporting to new products and markets.
Transparency and continuous improvement
We intend to keep disclosures accurate, review governance practices regularly, learn from incidents, and respond to changing requirements.
Frequently asked questions
Governance is the way TEOLOGU makes decisions, assigns responsibilities, manages risk, and holds itself accountable. It covers how products are approved, how data is handled, and how problems are escalated and resolved. Because TEOLOGU is under development, governance today is a set of principles and frameworks that are still being built. We describe it as such rather than presenting it as a finished system.
Responsibility for governance currently rests with the company’s founding leadership. TEOLOGU does not yet have a board committee structure or independent directors, and we do not present one on this page. Formal roles, independent oversight, and committees are intended to be introduced as the company’s scale, operational maturity, and regulatory obligations require. When they are established, we intend to publish verified details here.
Our approach follows five steps: identify, assess, monitor, escalate, and mitigate. The principal risk areas we focus on are operational, financial, cybersecurity, data protection, fraud, third-party dependencies, business continuity, and regulatory change. A formal risk management framework and internal controls are in development. We do not describe any control as operational until it has been put in place.
No. TEOLOGU is not a licensed bank and does not currently hold regulatory permissions or authorisations. Not every planned product is available, and availability will vary by market. Any regulated services will be provided only where TEOLOGU or its partners are appropriately authorised. If our regulatory status changes, we intend to update this page and our legal disclosures.
We intend to process personal data lawfully, for clear purposes, and with security considered from the start of product design. For AI features such as TOGA AI, people rather than systems remain accountable for significant decisions, and we aim to explain how features work. Detailed data governance and responsible-AI policies are in development and not yet published. Our current practices are described in our Privacy Policy and on our Security page.
Published legal documents, including our Legal Agreements and Privacy Policy, are linked on this page and in the site footer. Governance policies are listed in the documentation section above together with their status. None of those governance policies has been published yet. When a document is published, its date and a link will appear in that list.
Anyone can raise a concern through our Contact page. Please describe the issue clearly and include any details that will help us look into it. A formal concerns and whistleblowing procedure is in development and will be published when it is ready. Until then, concerns sent through the Contact page are reviewed by the company’s leadership.
We expect governance to develop through four stages: Foundation, Development, Readiness, and Growth. These describe a framework, not stages that have been completed. As TEOLOGU adds products, enters new markets, or takes on new legal obligations, oversight, controls, and reporting are intended to expand accordingly. We will update this page as arrangements change.
